When I received the email that my painting the, “The Birders” was accepted to join Birds in Art 2017 exhibition at Woodson Art Museum it was pure excitement for reaching such a milestone. A big happy dance and lasting grin followed for the week. The event was over the top and all the artists were treated like rockstars. More than 100 worldwide artists comprise the 42nd annual, internationally renowned 2017 Birds in Art exhibition, on view September 9 through November 26 at the Leigh Yawkey Woodson Art Museum. ​I am so honoured to have "The Birders" 11 x 14 Oil on Linen, selected for the internationally renowned Birds in Art exhibit held annually at the Leigh Yawkey Woodson Art Museum in Wausau, Wisconsin. This is one of the most important shows for Nature and Wildlife artists. This painting was selected from 832 entries and will hang with 113 other paintings created by the likes of Robert Bateman.
